If you can scan to see if there’s any codes in the module, also you can remove the benzyl. There should be two Phillips screws holding the button on check the plug make sure it’s connected correctly. There’s no damage to the wires or no corrosion. If you need me to make a video on doing that, let me know.

@@elizabethanzaldua3573 have the car scanned and see what codes are running because if there’s an issue with the power steering motor or the ABS sensors or the speed sensors, it could keep the switch from working

@elizabethanzaldua3573 Error code U0101 means that the TCM, or transmission control module, is unable to communicate with other control modules on the vehicle. Typically, the vehicle will send this code if the PCM (powertrain control module), which monitors the CAN (controller area network), hasn’t received any messages within a specific amount of time, as a well-functioning TCM will send messages regularly.

Totally understand it’s not like it’s a easy place to get it unscrewed best thing I can say is have patience if you have a mirror or you could use your phones camera on the reverse side so you can actually see the screw looking at your phone and make sure it’s not stripped You could also use a little bit of PB blaster or some kind of lubricant around the screw maybe help break it free because I do know after a while the heat cycles of the plastic the screws can get a little stuck

And if any of that fails, you’ll have to purchase a throttlebody gasket, but you could always just remove the throttle body

Yes, they had one and it was above the oil filter on the back of the engine

There was probably air in lines so you’ll need to top it off that we will run hot for a second as air moves by the temperature sensor and that will drop back down. Make sure you run the heat that way the coolant can go through the heater core there is a plastic screw on the passenger side of the radiator at the top sometimes you have to remove that completely to get the air to escape is hard to remove the air out of the systems. The way they have it set up is kind of weird but be very careful with that plastic screw because it can break too much torque, when you go to tighten it back up

There will be coolant around the area of the water pump. You will have overheating issues due to no flow for the bearings that the water pump lock up. Loss of coolant overtime, but mainly you’ll see coolant dried up around the water pump where it meets the block.

Amazon also stocks dorman… your bad experience with their product doesn’t me it’s a bad product. Have you seen their blend door gears? Hands down 100% higher quality than the oem parts. I am speaking from experience.

@@jakeyolo3284 you're wrong buddy. I've been doing this a very long time. I've worked in parts for many years and I've worked on cars for many years. MOST dorman shit is absolutely garbage. Their blend door actuators are junk as well. On a Cruze, 95 plus percent of the time you use OEM parts. You don't know shit about cars if you think aftermarket parts on Cruzes actually work. I have 20 plus years of experience.

Yeah, they’re pretty hard to find. I actually found a guy in Chicago Illinois that was selling them. He had bought a retired Chicago police car. I guess check Facebook marketplace that’s how I found mine and he shipped them.

That the cluster might went out. Check the bulbs if it has any. I guessing it’s showing up blank.
